Ma. Angela Teresa G. Sebastian

Ms. Ma. Angela Teresa G. Sebastian is part of the Firm’s Corporate Department, where she handles a broad range of multi-jurisdictional corporate matters, with an extensive background in corporate taxation, litigation, offshore gaming, information technology, and data privacy. As a certified data protection officer, she is well-versed in domestic, regional, and international standards on data privacy and protection, and assists transnational clients in establishing data protection policies and procedures, developing a response strategy plan, and guaranteeing organizational compliance.

Ms. Sebastian received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of the Philippines in 2020. While in law school, she was awarded the Best Oralist of the Preliminary Rounds in the 2020 Monroe E. Price Media Law Moot Court Competition and 1st place in the 2020 Thesis and Dissertation Writing Contest.

She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Research and graduated magna cum laude from the University of the Philippines in 2014. She was also awarded as one of the Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines in 2014.

Ms. Sebastian worked as legal intern for the University of the Philippines-Office of Legal Aid from April 2019 to June 2019 and November 2019 to November 2019.
