J. Manuel F. Armonio

Mr. J. Manuel Armonio is a senior counsel of Carag Zaballero Llamado & Abiera Law Offices.

For over 5 years, he served as legal assistant to the General Legal Counsel of a private corporation, where he was in-charge of Corporate and Regulatory Compliance for Canada. He likewise handled legal correspondence with Courts in Canada and the USA, as well as with the Provincial Registry, CRA, and Business License Office of all provinces and cities in Canada and the USA.

Prior to that, he served as office manager and administrative assistant to the Chairman of another private corporation, where he supported the Board of Directors on legal compliance on corporate issues and resolutions. He was also tasked with correspondence to corporate regulatory offices, annual documentary submissions, and processing of financial transactions requiring high degree of judgment and knowledge of all office processes encompassing administrative and accounting transactions.

Mr. Armonio likewise served as Asst. Vice-President and Comptroller of Citra Metro Manila Tollways Corporation, where he monitored internal control of the Company’s disbursement, reviewed and coordinated the budget submission of each department involved in toll operations, and communicated with senior executives and management on matters related to budgeting, completion and distribution of financial data and analyses.

Mr. Armonio obtained his Bachelor of Laws from the University of the Philippines in 1984, and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the same university in 1980.
